Terms & Conditions – One Year Supply of AKT competition (the “Competition”)
a) NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. By participating in the Competition, you (i) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of the Promoter (as defined below), which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Competition.
b) AKT London Ltd whose registered office is at Prospect House, 50 Leigh Road, Eastleigh, SO50 9DT, United Kingdom (“the Promoter”) is the organiser of the Competition.
c) Entrants must follow all the instructions for the Competition to be eligible to enter and win. To be eligible entrants must complete the form on
www.aktlondon.com/pages/competition-one-year-supply with their name and email address. It is optional for entrants to tick the box to subscribe to the
AKT London newsletter and entrants may unsubscribe at any time. Opting into our newsletter or other marketing emails (or choosing not to do so) will not affect an entrant’s chance of winning.
d) Entries will be accepted from 9:00 am GMT on 4th March 2024 up until 11:59 EST on 18th March 18th 2024 ("Promotion Period"). Entries received after that date and time will not be considered. One (1) entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
e) A single winner who has submitted a valid entry will be drawn at random from the pool. The prize for winning the Competition is: a one-year AKT subscription (8 x Deodorant Balm 50ml and 1 x The Assistant, distributed over 12 months. The Assistant will be included in the first box only.) from the AKT Deodorant Balm collection (see part f. below) and a personal fragrance-consultation with AKT founders Ed Currie and Andy Coxon. Any personal tax obligation that arises as a result of the granting of the Prize will be the sole responsibility of the Winner and the Promoter will not be liable in respect of any such tax
obligation. Entries which are defamatory, discriminatory, obscene, abusive, threatening or offensive in
any way shall be excluded from the Competition. The Promoter’s decision is final.
f) Prizes will be allocated as follows:
- Personal fragrance-consultation: The Winner will be invited to set up a 30 min zoom-call with the AKT founders Ed Currie and Andy Coxon. The date and time is selected by The Winner and included “in copy” in Winner’s reply email to AKT accepting the prize.
- 12-months Subscription: The Winner receives a discount code in a Winner email. The discount will be redeemable on subscribing with The Starter Set (includes 1 x The Deodorant Balm 50ml of choice and 1 x The Assistant) and include 8 refills deliveries of The Deodorant Balm 50ml, sent every 6 weeks. The Winner can swap fragrance and change frequency anytime. Once the 8 tubes have been sent the winner will be enrolled to a standard subscription plan and pay £17.85 per tube, but they will be notified before the charge kicks in and will have the option to cancel before they are charged. g) Prize is subject to fragrance available and if a winner’s choice is not available in the chosen fragrance, the winner will be required to change their choice to another fragrance in the The Deodorant Balm-range. Prize is non-assignable and non-transferable except to a surviving spouse. Prize is not for resale. Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
h) The Competition is open to entrants aged 18+ who are residents of UK residents.
i) Winner will be contacted via email no later than 23:59 GMT on 19th March 2024. The winner's first name and will also be announced on the Promoter's social media platforms. Winner must respond and “copy in” their chosen time and date for the zoom-call on the message by the deadline notified in the email; failure to respond by the deadline will constitute forfeiture of the personal fragrance-consultation. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incorrect or misspelt contact information submitted by an entrant. No liability is accepted for entries that cannot be counted for any technical reason.
j) Each entrant’s details, which includes their full name and email address, shall be retained by the Promoter until 19th August 2024, after which it shall be deleted (unless the entrant has subscribed to the Promoter’s newsletter, in which case the Promoter shall retain the entrant’s full name and email address).
k) Employees or agents of the Promoter, their family members, or anyone else connected with the
Competition may not enter the Competition.
l) The Promoter reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily
or permanently, this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside of its control. The
decision of the Promoter in all matters under its control is final and binding. The Competition will be
governed by the law of England and Wales.
m) The Promoter is not responsible if the Competition cannot take place or if the Prize cannot be awarded
due to cancellations, delays or interruptions due to acts of war (declared or undeclared), natural disasters,
weather, acts of terrorism, riot or civil disturbance, satellite or equipment failure, federal state or local
government law, order or regulation, public health crisis, order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause
not reasonably within the Promoter’s control (each a “Force Majeure” event or occurrence).
n) Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered, or mass entries or entries generated by
a script, macro or use of automated devices are void. The Promoter is not responsible for: (i) error,
omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or
unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment,
electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or
failure to receive entry information by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion
on the internet or at any web site or any combination thereof; or (ii) any injury or damage to persons or property, including but not limited to death, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Competition or receipt or use of the Prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by applicable law.
o) Behaviour which is intended to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Competition, or
which is intended to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, or any failure to comply with
these Terms and Conditions, may result in disqualification from the Competition, and Promoter reserves
the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person engaging in such behaviour to the
fullest extent permitted by law. The Promoter reserves the right to: (i) permanently disqualify from the
Competition any person it believes has intentionally violated these Terms and Conditions; and (ii) cancel,
suspend and/or modify the Competition without any liability if any fraud, virus or other factor beyond the
Promoter’s reasonable control impairs the administration, functioning or proper play of the Competition,
as determined by Promoter in its sole discretion, and withdraw the online method of entry if it becomes
technically corrupted (including if a computer virus or system malfunction inalterably impairs its ability to
conduct the Competition), and to select winner from among all eligible entries received prior to
withdrawal. Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant’s sole and exclusive remedy under such
circumstances.
p) The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or in association with,
Facebook, Meta and TikTok. Entrants are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook, Meta nor TikTok and by participating in the Competition you agree to a complete release of Facebook, Meta and TikTok from any claims.
q) Any complaints arising out of the Competition or these Terms and Conditions shall be sent to
r) The Promoter shall comply with its obligations under the terms of any applicable data protection
legislation, including but not limited to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), the UK Data Protection Act
2018; and the EU Privacy and Electronic Communications Directive (2002/58/EC), each as transposed
into domestic legislation and in each case as amended, replaced or superseded from time to time, and
any other relevant data protection laws, legislation and regulation.
s) Entrants’ details will be kept in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, available at

connection with them are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising from
the Competition and these Terms and Conditions.
